Scouting America Honors Art Alzamora with 2026 Distinguished Citizen Award

Scouting America honored Art Alzamora, Senior Principal, with the 2026 Distinguished Citizen Award at the 6th Project STEM Awards Dinner. The award recognizes Alzamora for his leadership, professional accomplishments, and contributions to the community.

With more than two decades of experience in civil engineering and land development, Alzamora has led numerous complex projects throughout the region, helping clients navigate growth and development challenges. Throughout his career at Langan, he has been recognized for his technical expertise, collaborative leadership, and dedication to mentoring future professionals. His commitment to community engagement and advancing opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) reflects the values recognized through this award.

Alzamora received the award on September 24 at Liberty House in Jersey City, New Jersey, where business and community leaders gathered to celebrate leadership, service, and support for STEM education.
